Profile:
Amanda works primarily as a litigator with a focus in the area of tax litigation. Specifically, she has acted as counsel for numerous taxpayers in disputes with Canada Revenue Agency on matters of income tax, GST, and employment insurance, and has appeared in front of the Tax Court of Canada, and the Saskatchewan Provincial Court (with respect to criminal tax evasion matters). Amanda has also acted as counsel on several rectification applications, representing taxpayers before the National Rectification Committee and the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench. She also practises in the area of taxation law, with a focus on business and personal tax planning matters and corporate reorganizations. Amanda also teaches Wills as a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law.
