Profile:
Amanda works primarily as a litigator with a focus in the area of tax litigation. Specifically, she has acted a counsel for numerous taxpayers in disputes with Canada Revenue Agency on matters of income tax, GST, and employment insurance, and has appeared in front of the Tax Court of Canada. Amanda also practices in the area of employment law, and advises on estate and succession planning matters. Amanda is a volunteer speaker for the Public Legal Education Association's (PLEA) "Request a Speaker" Program and was recently awarded the 2010 Cam Partridge Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award. Outside the practice of law, Amanda enjoys ballroom dancing, spending time with family, and cake decorating.
