Jade W. Buchanan
Summer Student
Profile:
Having spent most of his life in Saskatoon, Jade decided to see the watery part of the world by studying law at Dalhousie University. He has since returned from Halifax for his second year as a summer student at our firm.
Jade is strongly committed to public life. He has served as President of the Arts and Science Students’ Union (USask) and as a Senator on the University of Saskatchewan Senate. He was recently elected President of the Law Students’ Society (Dalhousie). His volunteerism has been recognized with the 2010 McCarthy Tétrault Leadership Award and 2008 Tim Hortons’ Scholarship.
After law school, Jade will be articling as a law clerk for the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.
Jade’s leisure interests include cycling, rock climbing, and cooking.
