Sonya Lalli
Summer Student
Profile:
Sonya Lalli joined our firm as a summer student in 2011.
Sonya was an intern at the Public Interest Research Group in Washington D.C. in the summer of 2010 where she did research and policy writing on health care reform.
She is a volunteer at CLASSIC (Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon’s Inner City) and an active member of the student-run environmental law society, Green Legal. In the fall of 2011 Sonya will begin her role as Vice President Athletics of the Law Student’s Association.
At Law Games 2011 in Quebec City, she was a member of the Saskatchewan delegation; the team placed first overall, winning the Spirit Cup for the University of Saskatchewan for the first time. In 2012 she hopes to help bring home another title as Law Games Captain.
Sonya’s other interests include traveling, creative writing, Tae Kwon Do, piano, and guitar.
